Challenge:

The brief for Eclipse Audio Visual was to design and integrate an innovative audio visual system that incorporated the latest presentation, training and display technology. The rooms can be used as 3 individual meeting spaces or with the use of folding partition walls can be opened into 1 large presentation area

Solution:

Meeting Room 1:

In this meeting space we ceiling mounted an NEC projector, with laptop connectivity, freeview and sound system. We used a beech equipment rack to hold the switcher, amplifier and PC. To ensure the system was simple to use we programmed an AMX touch panel to control all of the equipment and room layouts.

Meeting Room 2:

In this area we incorporated a 42” Panasonic Professional Plasma Display on a Unicol Axia stand. We also installed a sound system and for control a 16 Button AMX wall mounted panel was installed for easy control of the equipment. A beech equipment rack was used to safely hold the switcher, amplifier and PC.

Meeting Room 3:

In this meeting space we ceiling mounted an NEC projector, with laptop connectivity, freeview and sound system. We used a beech equipment rack to hold the amplifier, switcher and PC. A 16 Button AMX wall mounted panel was installed for easy control of the equipment.

Room Control:

One of the challenges of the project was to ensure what is a complex system was simple and intuitive to use, particularly when it came to selecting the different room scenarios. By using an 8.4” AMX touch panel this automatically switches all the appropriate control, audio and signalling to individual rooms when in single room mode.
